Sea Day 1 - Qsine and Evening

One perk of staying in the penthouse suite is that you get unlimited specialty dining. We took advantage of this to eat at Sweet Pea's favorite restaurant, Qsine tonight.

We started with her favorite dish, sushi lollypops. Aren't they cute?

Ross and Sweet Pea negotiating who should get which pieces.

Of course Sweet Pea wanted the one with crushed Doritos on it.

The waiter took our photo. It's evening chic nigh

We think this is the most fun restaurant on the ship!

Sweet Pea wanted me to show you her empty plate.

Here she is eating a feta cheese "cigar".

And she made table side guacamole for all of us.

She tested it carefully and decided it needed a little salt. We had to flag down our water to bring us some.

Dessert time! This is the fascinating desserts I. It's hard to quit playing with it and give it back to the waiter.

It wasn't on the menu, but of course, they brought Grandma Trudy a creme brûlée anyway.

Ross ordered one of there most popular desserts, The Tombstone.

Sweet Pea ordered the Silver Bullet which is filled with gelato and fruit.

I ordered donuts and fritters with dipping sauces.

At the end of the meal we were brought yet another dessert, a tasty chocolate concoction, to celebrate Celebrity's unveiling of their new Edge class of ships.

After dinner, Ross took Grandma Trudy to the Beatles show. They both liked this one much better than the Life show yesterday.

While they were at the show, I dropped Amelia off at the kids club and went to pub trivia. They were already on the first question when I arrived so I just sat down with a ransom group and asked if I could play with them. We got the first ten general knowledge questions easily, but the second ten were all of the "name that tune" variety and we only got a few of those.

Then I ordered a cocktail and spent a few quiet minutes in the observation lounge texting Mimi before it was time to pick up Amelia and call it a night.
