Embarkation Day Lunch in Luminae

The menu:

Sweet Pew had the heirloom tomato salad with goat cheese which was excellent. Fresh and tangy.

Salmon sashimi for Ross and me. This was tasty, but could have used a touch more sauce.

Grandma Trudy ordered lobster bisque and creme brûlée (which wasn't actually in the menu). The waiter said he didn't know if he could get the creme brûlée at lunchtime. But then in the middle of the appetizer course, he showed up with a cloche which he opened to reveal two of them.

Grandma Trudy promptly pushed her lobster bisque out of the way.

Sweet Pea and I had a Luminae burger. They cooked mine well instead of medium, but it was still very good.

Ross for seafood skewers. The shrimp was great, but o thought the scallops were a little off.

Macadamia cake with pistachio ice cream for dessert. This version was much better than the one the Equinox. It had a softer texture and a better nuttier flavor.

Cappuccinos in tulip cups!
